Classical Carved Mahogany Veneer Sofa, Philadelphia or Baltimore area, 1815-20, the scrolled veneered crest rail ends in leaf and foliate carving which is echoed in the scrolled arm supports above the exposed veneer seat rail with two brass-inlaid veneered rectangular dies over the leaf and dolphin carved legs ending in paw feet, old refinish, with black horsehair upholstery, (imperfections), ht. 33 1/2, seat ht. 16, lg. 90 in.
