Mahogany Banjo Timepiece, possibly J. L. Dunning, Concord, Massachusetts, the mahogany case with acorn-turned finial above the brass bezel and convex glass enclosing the white painted dial and eight-day brass movement, with eglomise tablets, the lower of which shows a woman sewing accompanied by her daughters, both framed by square moldings and flanked by pierced brass side pieces, old finish, the tablets appear to be original, maker's signature on dial is worn, (minor imperfections), ht. 33 in.
