Louis XV Gilt Bronze and Marble Three-piece Clock Garniture, France, late 19th century, retailed by Cartier, comprising clock with two train chiming movement, the enamel dial accented with floral garlands, set into a gilt bronze case topped by the seated figure of Venus on stylized cloudwork, a cherub flying up from one side, with musical instruments and florals set below the dial, on a white marble trefoil-fronted base and bronze scroll feet, ht. 26, together with a pair of seven light candelabra, the candlearms formed as cornucopia, raised over a seated putto figure, raised on four scrolled legs ending in acanthus, on an ovoid white marble base, (electrified), ht. 26 in.
