Black Transfer Decorated Liverpool Pitcher, England, early 19th century, creamware pitcher, the obverse with an oval reserve with an allegorical figure of Liberty seated on a rocky formation, with a liberty cap on a pole, a harp at her side and bundles labeled "For France; For Spain; For America;" with inscriptions "Hibernia," and "Ye Sons of Hibernia rejoice in the Freedom of your extensive Commerce," the reverse with a sailing vessel, (repairs), ht. 8 1/2 in.
