Inlaid Tiger Maple Dresser Box, 19th century, the rectangular canted box has a hinged lid with a raised panel centered with an inlaid ebony rectangular reserve enclosed by ebony stringing and ring devices, the front decorated with similar inlay, gadrooned edges around lid and base, raised on bun feet, the interior fitted with a lift-out tray with several compartments and lined with red padded silk and pink paper, an envelope is incorporated into the lid, (age cracks, repairs), ht. 6, wd. 11, dp. 8 in.
