Waldo Midgley (American, 1888-1986) Lot of Two Versions of Sleeping Lions , Preliminary Sketch and Etching Each signed "Waldo Midgley" l. r., identified on labels, one from The Old Print Shop, New York, on the reverse. Graphite on paper and etching on paper, sight sizes to 9 x 10 3/4 in. (22.8 x 27.3 cm), in a common frame. Condition: Toning, the sketch with a mat stain, not examined out of frame. Provenance: A private New England collection.
