Plateau Beaded Hide and Wood Model Cradle, c. late 19th century, the tapered wood form with hide covering, partially beaded with multicolored floral devices, roll-beaded protective bar with trade bead and dentalia shell attachments, the doll with braided horse (?) hair and beaded details, wearing a necklace with an abalone pendant, (patina of use), ht. 11 in. Provenance: Property of a Western museum.
