Carrig-Rohane Studios (American, 20th Century) Carved Frame Dated, signed and inscribed "1927 Carrig-Rohane Shop, Inc. , R.C.Vose" l.c., numbered "#4671" l.r., on the reverse. Gilt carved wooden frame, outer dimensions 44 3/4 x 34 3/4 in. (113.6 x 88.2 cm), inner dimensions 40 1/4 x 30 1/2 in. (102.2 x 77.4 cm). Condition: Wear, losses to gilt. Provenance: Formerly of the collection of Narcissa Peace Willard, niece of artist Charles Hovey Pepper (American, 1864-1950).
