After Alberto Giacometti for Jean Michel Frank Floor lamp Design introduced c. 1934 Two sockets over shaped shaft in bronze painted finish on plaster body, fitted with two sockets and accompanied by a cloth shade, retailed by Gracious Home, New York, base unmarked, ht. 71 in. Giacometti was born in 1901 and died in 1966, he worked designing decorative objects in the 1930s for the decorator Jean Michel Frank. The original design was cast in bronze.
