19th century. Anglo Indian ivory mounted and tortoiseshell covered lidded dresser box with pierced ivory meshwork and strap work on top and sides. Top reticulated ivory meshwork mount with hand painted floral vignette at center in red, purple and green. Box raised on four lion's paw feet. Height 2.25", width 5.5", depth 3.5". Provenance: From a Private Collection in Rabun Gap, Georgia.
