Richard de Menocal (American, b. 1919) Lot of Eight Figural Drawings, Including Portraits of Signor Tortorella , Osbert Lancaster, Mrs. Rhinelarder Stewart, and Elizabeth Bowen in her Drawing Room. Five signed "Menocal" along the lower edge, Elizabeth Bowen and Osbert Lancaster bear stamp "COPYRIGHT, The Conde Nast Publications, Inc...." on the reverse, five bear artist's stamp on the reverse, one with pencil sketch on the reverse, some titled/inscribed on the reverse. Pencil, ink, wash and watercolor with whiting on paper, sizes to 14 1/4 x 10 3/4 in., unframed. Condition: Toning, tape adhesive to edges, handling creases, minor soiling/staining.
