Group of two hand painted porcelain figural groups of French historic military figures on horseback comprising of a German porcelain (possibly Scheibe Alsbach) depiction of Napoleon Bonaparte at Cherburg (Napoleon a Cherbourg), marked on the bottom "GERMANY"; and a Jean-Baptiste Bessières, 1st Duc d' Istria (French, 1768-1813), marked on back edge with indistinguishable blue mark. Each figure depicting in full military uniform and riding on a white horse positioned on an integral naturalistic base with gilt accents. Bessiers approximate height 11", width 8", depth 3.5". Napoleon approximate height 10.5", width 9.5", depth 4.5".
