Manner of Jacob Jordaens (Flemish, 1593-1678) As the Old Sang, So the Young Unsigned, identified on the frame. Oil on canvas, 60 x 81 in. (152.4 x 205.7 cm), framed. Condition: Punctures (some repaired), retouched, craquelure. N.B. The original is in the collection of the Louvre, through the Musee des Beaux Arts, Valenciennes. This work was widely copied, including a number of copies by Jordaens and his studio members.
