Art Deco Platinum, Sapphire and Diamond Open Face Pocket Watch, Agassiz, the white dial with Arabic numeral indicators, the 18-jewel signed six adjustment movement within stepped case with diamond melee and baguettes alternating with step-cut sapphires, suspended from a delicate platinum chain highlighted by diamond and sapphire bars, lg. 12 1/2 in., (missing crystal, chain with later findings). Watch- light wear to case. Missing crystal. Monogram on the reverse "SG" in blue enamel. Face shows two small spots of tarnish (area under metal also has some tarnish, but is not visible without opening the watch). Ticks when wound. Chain- 3 sapphire bar links and two diamond bar links. Later spring ring closure.
