Russian Silver and Enamel Snuff Box, St. Petersburg, 1908-17, stylized shell-shaped, pearl basse taille enamel, lid with fine black vines, and small roundel of rose cut diamond melee surrounding a tiny seed pearl, with further melee to the small latch, goldwashed interior, wd. 2 in., approx. 1 troy oz. 88. minor chip to enamel at left rear edge of lid, with very minor enamel flaked at some edge of body. minor light age typical surface scratching to base.
