Partial Chinese Export Porcelain Tea and Coffee Service with Eagle Decoration, made for the American market, 1810-35, each item decorated with a brown and gilt spreadwing eagle centered with a flower sprig in a shield, with a gilt-starrred aura above his head, the eagle grasps a branch and a cluster of arrows, with wide border bands of gilt, sepia, and purple grape clusters and leaves; including a teapot, coffeepot, helmet-shaped creamer, covered sugar bowl, tea caddy, twelve tea bowls, two handled teacups, fifteen saucers, a shallow bowl, a small plate, and a small bowl, thirty-seven pieces total, (minor imperfections), ht. 1 3/4-8 1/2 in. All pcs. with minor gilt wear. teapot- good; coffeepot-good; helmet-shaped creamer - good;. covered sugar bowl- two unobtrusive 1 1/4 in hairlines on body above handles; tea caddy- 3/4 in. hairline on neck, cover with repaired crack and 1 x 1 in. loss on fitter rim, (does not show to exterior); twelve tea bowls- three have 1 in hairlines from rims and one has a small rim chip; two handled teacups- good; fifteen saucers- three have small rim chips with associated small hairlines; a shallow bowl- good; a small plate- small rim chip on underside; small bowl- 2 1/4 in. hairline from rim.,
