German, First quarter 20th century. Junghans chiming tall case clock in dark stained finish, 5 rod and 1 gong, time strike and Westminster chimes, on the quarter, half and hour. The bonnet top over a conforming glazed door enclosing the gilt and silvered dial with black Arabic numerals, the trunk door glazed and flanked by turned pilasters on rectangular base with bun feet. Movement is stamped with the Junghans trademark stamps since 1890, #A26. Approximate height 78.5", width 22.25", depth 14.25".
