James N. Wines (American, b. 1932) Two Prints: Untitled (Black Cat), 1962, offset and collage; and Studies for Sculpture, 1963, offset reproduction. Both signed and dated "Wines N.Y.C. ..." in ink l.r. Sight sizes to 27 1/2 x 21 1/2 in., framed. Condition: Former with staining, not examined out of frames. Provenance: From the collection of Dr. Frank Stanton. Black Cat has staining, primarily to the lowest quarter that looks almost like bloom. Studies has cockling and some handling creases. Although they have not been removed from their frames, there are no other visible condition issues to report.
