Barend Cornelis Koekkoek (Dutch, 1803-1862) Scene with Figures and Watering Cattle Signed and dated "BC Koekkoek 1837" l. l. Ink and wash on board, 6 1/2 x 8 1/2 in. (16.5 x 21.6 cm), framed. Condition: Toning, staining, gentle fading, not examined out of frame. The work has not been viewed out of its frame. There is a horizontal band on toning/discoloration running down the right side of the composition. There is mild overall toning and fading as well as some small scattered areas of staining.
