English Fruitwood, Jasper and Cut Steel-Mounted Patch Box, late 18th/early 19th century, oval, applied with cut steel to rims, lid with three blue and white jasper classical scene plaques, interior of lid mounted with mirror, lg. 4 in. shrinkage cracks to lid. Loss to approx. 1/2" piece of cut steel head trim to upper right corner of lid. Cut steel rim to base a little loose. glue covering part of the surface of the medallion on the right side. tarnish to steel mounts. Mirroring worn.
