George III Silver Teapot and Stand, teapot, London, 1790-91, maker's mark for Henry Chawner, elongated octagonal form with concave sides and angular spout, foliate engraved borders and panels, engraved to base, the stand engraved with an armorial, teapot ht. 6 in., approx. 20 troy oz. Teapot: hinge to top repaired; spout crimped, sides with minor denting throughout; only fair overall. Stand: scratched and with overall wear.
