Provenance: Alvin Lee; Leo Lyons; Bonham's Rock, Pop & Guitars, Part 1, 1995, Lot 210; Herb Staehr. Later Guild vibrato, later pickup in middle postion, minor surface scratches and finish check. The late Herb Staehr was known to fans of Ten Years After as their unofficial historian and chronicler. His book Alvin Lee and Ten Years After: A Visual History is considered the definitive work on the history of the band from its early days to the present. This guitar was played by Alvin Lee at the 1970 Isle of Wight Festival, and was later modified by him to include a pickup in the middle postion.
