Joseph Warner (American, 19th/20th Century) Desolation Unsigned, titled and inscribed "... Painted by Jos Warner From Appletons Journal Dec. 1872, Il'worth-Kan.," probably in the artist's hand, on the reverse. Oil on board, 9 1/2 x 7 1/2 in. (24.1 x 19.1 cm), framed. Condition: Very minor wear to edges, pinholes at corners, abrasions with minor losses, scattered retouch, surface grime.
