Pieced and Appliqued Cotton Oak Leaf and Flower Quilt, America, late 19th century, the quilt with nine squares composed of four oak leaves alternating with fan-shaped flower blossoms both surrounding a flower blossom, enclosed in an undulating flower bud and leaf vine, the motifs in red and green printed cotton on a white ground, edged and backed in white cotton, with outline and diagonal line quilting, (light stains, toning), 86 x 71 in.
