Two Oval Bentwood Covered Storage Boxes, America, mid to late 19th century, both with pine tops and bottoms and bent maple sides, one with salmon paint with four lapped fingers, the other stained brown with three lapped fingers, (imperfections), ht. 4 1/4, 3 3/4, dia. 10 1/2, 9 1/2 in. salmon painted box- surface with scratches small abrasions and scattered paint losses, base edge with losses either side of nails; stained box- surface stains, bottom edge on one end with crack and small loss.
