Pieced Cotton Basket Pattern Quilt, "Nettie," Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, 1902, the quilt composed of forty-two basket or "cake stand" squares set on point pieced with red and yellow printed cotton fabric, alternating with green printed squares, red and yellow zig-zag border, the backing done with a 1890's era cotton "Neon" print brought to the front and stitched as binding to the top, signed at the top in double stitch "Nettie 1902," quilted in Dresden plate, echo stitching, and triple cable designs, 79 x 91 in.
