Pair of Pieced Cotton Geometric Design Quilts, Hamburg Cove, Connecticut, c. 1900, the quilts each with alternating squares of pieced pastel floral printed geometric segments and white cotton blocks quilted with quatrefoil designs, pastel yellow borders, white cotton backing, (wear, light stains), 92 x 74 in. Provenance: These quilts came from the home of Dora Reynolds Wood, of Hamburg Cove, Connecticut. She is buried in the churchyard in Hamburg Cove along with her father Haydon Lord Reynolds.
