Two Northwest Coast Carved and Inlaid Wood Bowls, c. early 20th century, both early tourist items purchased in Alaska in 1915, the first a "Devil Fish" bowl with opposing stylized bird heads and tentacles along the sides, inlaid with bone and abalone, a long story accompanies the bowl, with an old tag on the bottom; the second a small frog bowl, stained dark, with bone and abalone inlay, (repair to front leg of frog bowl), lg. to 14 in. Provenance: Wistariahurst Museum; C. H. Strawbridge.
