French, Late 19th/Early 20th century. Pair of matching Gien faience lidded urns with artichoke form finial above domed top with acanthus leaf tip motif surrounded by transfer of mutli colored flowers on lid above vessel with bell flower ornamented curved handles flowing into facial mask mounts at bottom. Exterior of footed urn with transfer decoration of flowers. Urn with round foot further raised on square plinth, marked on bottom with manufacturer's mark. Approximate height 16.25", width (across handles) 8.75", base 4.5" square.
