Emile Galle (French, 1846-1904), circa 1900. A matched pair of signed marquetry inlaid two tier side or occasional tables, both having a rectangular top with rounded corners and molded edges enclosing inlaid marquetry depicting dragonfly amidst lily pads and water, the lower tier with serpentine edges, all raised on four slightly splayed molded legs. Both tables with inlaid 'signature' to top surface "Galle". Approximate height 29.8", width 23.8", depth 13.8". Provenance: From the Estate of Channing S. Jun, M.D., Eastman, Georgia.
