A finely rendered diminutive gilt vermeil and malachite musical instrument sculpture depicting a mandolin, with malachite plinth base, with gilded 800 silver mark, with additional indistinct mark, mandolin face or top with malachite, with overlaid gilt foliate elements, sound hole with pierced foliate surround, back with cascading and scrolled gilt foliates and quatrefoil medallion, with gilt support mounting mandolin to shaped malachite plinth base, with accompanying green case. Overall approximately 5.5" x 2.4" x 4.5".
