RUSSIAN HAND PAINTED LACQUER BOXES, C1950-60'S, 3 PCS. , H 1" - 2", W 3" - 4 1/2", D 4" - 4 1/2":Three Russian hand painted hinged lacquer boxes. One entitled: "Portrait Of Vadim (c1954), Artist A. Markichev, village of Palekh, Inscription on the interior of the lid states: "For Memory, to my dear Vadim, from Mother, July 1, 1954, 1" H. x 3 3/4" W. x 4 3/4" D. Second box is a hand painted portrait box of a lady, 1 1/8" H. x 3 1/8" W. x 4 1/8" D. Third box depicts an ocean steam ship at sea, 2 1/8" H. x 4 1/2" x 4 1/2".
