French School, early 20th century. "Lady in Hat with Blue Flowers" pastel, apparently unsigned. An oval format portrait of a young beauty in 18th century French style dress with coifed and curled powdered hair under wide brimmed with cluster of blue flowers pinned at her neck, her body draped in effervescent white and set before an ethereal landscape background. Framed approximately 30.25" x 22.75".
