20th century. Pair of cast and patinated bronze figural floor torchieres depicting a young woman and man in 18th century Italian or French red and light green colored dress with feathered plumes in hats holding electrified lamps with light yellow tinted and beaded glass floriform shades. Figures standing at full length with opposite hand resting on hip, crossed legs on a circular base above a hexagonal plinth with leaf tip borders and facial mounts. Indistinguishably signed in marker on figures' chests and backs of legs, as well in numerous other places on body. Overall approximate height 57.75", diameter of base 16".
