French, 19th century. Large antique Louis XV style carved fruitwood coffer of rectangular form with rounded edges. Top with hinged lid to reveal storage within interior. Panleled sides and front above scalloped edging at bottom. Coffer or chest raised on two squat cabriole legs at front and two squared legs at back. Height 29.5 inches, width 63.5 inches, depth 28.5 inches.
