American, 20th century. Matched set of 6 Regency style mahogany dining chairs by John Widdicomb comprising two arm and four side chairs, each with scrolled and padded back over a turned and reeded splat and trapezoidal seat raised on sabre legs. Each chair is stamped "314" to the underside of seat, all but 1 chair is mounted with a metal tag "Made By John Widdicomb Company, Grand Rapids". Armchair approximate height 34.5", width 21.75 (arm to arm), seat depth 18", seat height 18.5". Side chair approximate height 33.5", width 20.5", seat depth 16.5", seat height 18.5".
