Philadelphia sackback windsor armchair, ca. 1770 , the outward flaring arms with knuckle handholds supported by baluster turned supports, the seat with pronounced pommel supported by baluster and ring turned legs terminating in blunt arrow feet joined by bulbous stretchers, retaining an exceptional early ochre surface.
