IRISH GEORGE III STERLING TEA & COFFEE SET, DUBLIN, 1810-14, FOUR PIECES, WILLIAM HAMY & JAMES SCOTT:An assembled sterling silver set including a teapot by William Hamy and James Scott, H. 6 1/4", L.12 1/2", with a matching creamer and sugar bowl by James Scott, both of which engraved with a three-arrow crest, and a coffee pot, H.9 1/2", L.9 3/4"; each piece is of rectangular shape with ribbed sides and gadrooned rims, raised on ball-form feet (except the coffee pot which has a conforming base on ball feet). The teapot's hallmarks are crisp and include Hibernia, crowned harp, king's profile, date letter O, and maker's marks for William Hamy and James Scott (see additional photo), the coffee pot has the same hallmarks but instead date letter S and no apparent maker's mark; the hallmarks on the creamer and sugar are rubbed. Totaling approximately 69.3 troy oz.
