JAPANESE DOLLS (8), ICHIMATSU, BOY'S DAY SAMURAI, & OTHERS, EARLY-MID 20TH C. , H 12"-26":Including 1 Ichimatsu girl doll with papier mache head, arms and legs, paper covered torso and upper legs, dark glass set eyes, and original silk costume (wig is sparse at the back, wear noted to the face), early 20th c., H.14"; 1 Ichimatsu boy doll, hand-painted features, jointed limbs, original costume, L.15" (a 1" crack to the top of his head); 1 Boy's Day samurai doll on horseback, on a wood base, H.13 1/2" x 11" overall (chipping around both eyes); 1 kneeling Ichimatsu girl doll on wood base, H.13" overall (small spot of discoloration near chin); and 4 other dolls, H.12"-26" (the girl in kimono with a 1 1/2" vertical crack at the chin, largest doll with cracks at the base).
