Continental, Late 18th Century (1790 - 1800). Louis XVI style ormolu mounted stained mahogany bureau plat with rectangular top over a pair of frieze drawers centered with ormolu plaque depicting Europa and the bull, raised on square, tapered and fluted legs terminating in gilt caps, the drawers, paneled sides and apron with husk carved moldings. Height 32.75", width 57.75", depth 31.5".
