RUSSIAN CLOISONNÉ & . 916 SILVER VODKA SET, EIGHT PIECES, ENCASED, H 2" & 8":Includes 6 cups, H. 1 3/4", with a round footed tray, Dia. 7 1/4"and 1 bottle with stopper, H. 8 1/2" overall. Cloisonné set is decorated with a black ground with white and cocoa brown floral and leaf motifs. Stamped with maker's initials in Cyrillic along with the city mark (worn) a sickle and hammer within a five pointed star and the silver standard "916", all enclosed within an oval type shape. The mark consisting of a hammer and sickle within a five pointed star was used for the first time in 1958. From the Estate of a European Art Dealer, Fred Rose, New York.
