Michelangelo Meucci (Italian, 1840-1890 (or 1840-1909). Pair of paintings "Still Life with Grapes", oil on canvas, signed lower right "M. Meucci, Firenze". A pair of paintings comprising of one depicting hanging pears, plums, peaches, cherries and grapes above a grouping of cut melon and lemon, entirely set upon a stone counter above a stylized banded border; and one depicting hanging pomegranates, citrus fruit, and grapes above a grouping of watermelon and assorted fruit, also set upon a stone counter above a stylized banded border. Label on verso of stretcher "Made in Italy". Framed 42" x 18.75", unframed 39.5" x 15.75".
