Two Chester County, Pennsylvania pewter porringers, early 19th c. , marked "SP", probably for Simon and Samuel Pennock, 2 1/4" h., 7 1/8" w. and 2 1/2" h., 7 1/4" w. For similar examples, see "Pewter in the Delaware Valley", an exhibit at the Chester County Historical Society, June 30, 1989 through March 4, 1990, cat. 60 and 76.
