REMBRANDT VAN RIJN (DUTCH 1606-1669), CAPTAIN BAILLIE POSTHUMOUS EDITION ETCHING WITH DRYPOINT:9 1/4" x 7 3/4" image; 9 3/4" x 8" plate size; "Jan Uytenbogaert Goldweighter". Depicting well dressed gentleman in furs and hat seated at table. Signed and dated 1639 in the plate lower left. According to the G.B. Kuehnle Co. 1993 insurance appraisal (in customer file), "This impression appears to be Nowell-Usticke's 3rd state, Biorklund's 4th state after the plate was re-worked by Captain Baillie".
