French, Late 19th C. Matched pair of French Louis XVI style gilt bronze mounted cobalt glass covered vases, each lid with pinecone finial, the urn form body mounted at the base with stylized foliage on a turned socle decorated with berried laurel leaves on a square plinth base. Height 13.5", width 3.75". Provenance: Former catcher with the Chicago Cubs and one of Nashville's most prolific restaurateurs.
