Painting depicting numerous abstracted and angled nude male figures standing on a white beach with blue water at back below a pale yellow sun at left. Framed 27" x 36.5". Sight size approximately 16" x 26". Note: The Cress Gallery at University of Tennessee, Chattanooga bears the name of the artist as he served as UTC's Guerry Professor of Art Emeritus and worked as a dedicated lifetime advocate of the University's Gallery of Art and its importance for both campus and community. Provenance: From a Private Collection in Rabun Gap, Georgia.
