Image depicting Brunnhilde, a shield maiden and a valkyrie in Germanic mythology wearing a crown and riding on a white horse in a dark environment. Framed 26.5" x 27.5". Sheet size approximately 22.5" x 23". Note: Le Brun was elected President of the Royal Academy of Arts in 2011 and currently serves in the esteemed position. He is the youngest president to be elected since Lord Leighton in 1878. His artwork has been commended by art critics and is in a number of notable public and private collections including the the Tate Gallery, the British Museum, the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art and MoMA, New York.
