Artist info: Born in Manchuria before WW II, he moved with his parents to Japan when the war ended. Early in his career, he painted murals which blended Western and Japanese themes and techniques. He now lives in Hawaii and exhibits his paintings in major galleries in Hawaii, San Francisco and New York.
