Provenance: The decoy lamp found at Brimfield, Massachusetts. Note: The book accompanied by original bill of sale from the Massachusetts Audubon Society, Inc., Boston, dated January 31, 1940, for the purchase of Vols. I and III, which were used for reference by miniature bird carver Jess Blackstone, who at the time lived in Melrose, Massachusetts.
