Parts I-III. with Notes by John Russell Bartlett First edition, three parts in four volumes, privately printed in a limited edition of one hundred copies signed by Bartlett, this is copy number 31, title pages printed in black, red and gold; presented to the New England Historic Genealogical Society, by Mrs. John Carter Brown, with her inscription in one volume, and the bookplate of the society referring to Mrs. Brown's gift, with their withdrawal stamp; all four volumes bound in uniform half buckram and paper boards with black labels lettered in gold, contents very good. John Carter Brown's Americana collection is unequaled, the catalog of that collection is an indispensable aid to the bibliophile, here in the rare first edition.
